Forgotten Peopleby browntComment by byshen: This is a very interesting photo. Excellent photo journalism. I'm not sure if it's NG but I really like it. I will probably remember this one long after I have forgotten the winning photographs.
Great work! |

Forgotten Peopleby browntComment by GeneralE: Perfect amount of motion blur in your blind marchers. I don't know if that bit of bright background needs to be quite that bright, but overall tone range (into the deep blacks) is great. |

Forgotten Peopleby browntComment by cshep: When I think National Geographic, I think color. Although this shot is not in color, I like your message and the technical quality of the photo. Great execution of a good idea! |

Forgotten Peopleby browntComment by guyben: Apart from the overexposed part (upper right) this is a perfect shot and deserves the first place. |

Forgotten Peopleby browntComment by dr rick: An image only a camera could capture; most people would focus on the crowd and look higher to see their heads. The time exposure makes the crowd translucent and denying visibility of the heads makes the viewer focus on the "forgotten person". This needs to be in black and white to emphasize its starkness, and I hope that even the National Geographic editors would agree with that choice even though they normally favor color. |

Forgotten Peopleby browntComment by TooCool: Looking at the guys hands, you can tell that the dog was stiller than the human. Interesting capture! Hope to hear the story behind it!
