A Darkened Dayby KenzieKupcakeComment by Yo_Spiff: Congratulations on your first entry and your first ribbon!
Ok, so it was the brown ribbon, but that leaves nowhere to go but up, and you did get some good feedback. Freestudies are always tough anyway, so you picked a hard one for your first challenge. In a freestudy, you have to totally blow some people away just to get them to say "eh, it's ok." Looking forward to seeing what you do in the future. |

A Darkened Dayby KenzieKupcakeComment by Yo_Spiff: Seems to be a very soft and unclear image to me, but it has a bit of a painting like quality to it, so I'm not sure if that aspect was an intentional artistic effect or not. |

A Darkened Dayby KenzieKupcakeComment by jmsetzler: This photograph has quite a few issues that cause it to fall in line as one of my lowest scoring photos of this challenge. To begin with, there is no reason that everything in this image should not be sharp and in focus. The level of focus and sharpness in this image do not seem to indicate that it was intentional. Secondly, a landscape image needs to have one or more strong points of interest. This image lacks that element in my opinion. The foreground and tree are shaded and the field behind the tree is brightly lit which causes me to look in that area for the primary point of interest, which is never found. Better luck next time :) |

Tazby KenzieKupcakeComment by ScooterMcNutty: Good action! i think that maybe lightening the shot a little and then adding a little contrast would really make taz pop! I love how when you take pictures of animals, especially dogs, that they can look so happy when they run! You did a good job on capturing that with her. |

Screw Topby KenzieKupcakeComment by ScooterMcNutty: I like it :) I think that if you can edit shots, that adding a little more contrast would be good. the POV (point of view) Is great. Well done :) |
