Turkey Vultureby GraciousComment by scrum8: Maybe a little soft and overexposed. I've been trying to get a close up of these guys for sometime, but to no avail. |

Digitsby GraciousComment by AltPro: Funny... Every child does this trick with a flashlight... Good idea for the challenge. As a help for next time... focus the camera on the knuckles prior to having someone switch on the flashlight and turn off the overhead, so that the focus is sharp and clear. Could have been wonderful

Turkey Vultureby GraciousComment by moodville: You've managed to capture an interesting bird in what appears to be the wild. Unfortunately the quality of the image isnt the best. The bird itself seems to have two tones, almost like you tried to recover details in the shadows (the tail feathers) and it just lightened them up unnaturally. The bird is quite a distance away and so there are hardly any details to be seen and it looks quite soft. Although having the foliage in there gives a sense of location they are mostly blurry and seem more like a distraction. |

Turkey Vultureby GraciousComment by jaredldr: It seems like a lot of detail is missing from the underside of the bird. Possibly the effect of a high iso film or too much noise reduction. |

Tracksby GraciousComment by jmlelii: On this photo, I would have zoomed way in. Then, change the name of the photo, and leave the people wondering. I feel like now that I know what it is, it sort of loses my interest. |

Tracksby GraciousComment by skief: Good eye on seeing what could be an interesting picture in the ordinary. I think had this been a 'textures' this picture would do better, especially if it cut off the bottom right and top left that weren't part of the 'pattern', as it is, those two parts being different tend to draw my eyes to those corners and away from the pattern you were trying to focus on. Contrast also seems a little harsh. |
