This is a beautifully composed image. I can see either an eye with an eyebrow raised or an ear, reflecting or listening to the world deeper inside the blury part of the image. The tonal range is that of an Ansel Adams picture, with very sharp well defined lines. I would love to see it in a larger size, or in print. Excellent job, a 10!

Lovely, I really like this photo. Did you add noise for the grainyness? I think it works well, it emphasizes the rough texture of the wood. Not really sure if that's water or something else through the hole. I think the real high contrast brings out the grain of the wood as well.

Fantastic - would like it even more without the exaggerated contrast but that's just personal preference. The DOF works well - I like that the framed view is out of focus compared to the detail of the wood. Great curved and just the right composition/ crop.
