Great message. The red is powerful as well. You do haev some noise though. NEATIMAGE may help you clean this up, if you don't already have it. (It is free)

Pretty strong message. Very creative, good job. Only thing is, should have put the cross on the other side to "balance" the picture.

CRITIQUE CLUB

Lighting: Absolutely perfect. I find nothing wrong with your lighting at all. There is just a tiny bit too much lighting near the bottom right hand corner which draws the eye down a bit.

Technical: Obviously, your camera was set to do this perfectly. I see no graininess, noise, or technical issues here at all.

Challenge: Very yellow! Fits the challenge beautifully.

Overall: A WONDERFUL shot! I really like this and can see it in an advertisement easily.

Perfect focus and colour saturation. A lovely simple composition, which I can imagine being used for various stock purposes.

Greetings from the Critique Club.
I look at this photo and see a lot of potential. It to me is already a very good photo. But what if you had been able to get in closer and framed only one of the smaller branches and needles. I think the photo may have been more dramatic and wouldn't lose a connection to rhythm. Do you have pine cones to go along with this tree or is it some other tree? Maybe a macro of the surface of the pine cone. There's a lot of rhythm there. I'm not saying you didn't meet the challenge I'm just giving you alternatives on what i think may have been available for you to photograph. I like the framing and the fact you went with a silhouette. That is a nice blue with the clouds giving it a pleasent touch. Again, you have a good photo here that may or not have been better if you had gotten in a little closer. I hope this helps some. I've been having great difficulty writting these lately. Feel free to e-mail me if you have questions. Good luck in future challenges.

Great stock image, the sky or/and watter can be used for text,.The picture in its entirety can be a fill image in frames and public places.

Are you sorry, upset? This just seems to be a photo of someone's art. I like the red effect.
