Enduring Pillarsby GraciousComment by crabappl3: The graininess adds to this shot! I like the lines and how they draw the eye to jogger and bench in the middle. Great job! In my top 10 this week. |

I Denied Him!by GraciousComment by JPR: Very emotive shot. i'm not sure you meant it in the way that i took it recognizing the statue as a crying buddha. Great composition and tone. The red light seems more angry than despairing to me as well, but it also suggests the fires of hell which is good. I would have liked to see such a powerful image in slightly more powerful spotlighting, especially to get rid of the border crease. It would have been really awesome to shine the only light through the cross, especially since you already had the red valentine's wrap out! Message edited by author 2003-03-04 03:35:59. |

Storm Brewingby GraciousComment by lisae: Great sky, and lovely composition around the boats and wharf. I think this could work as a stock photo. |

I Denied Him!by GraciousComment by kiwiness: Wow that figure really is in despair, nice find there! The cross behind him fits in well. The post processing is a a matter of taste but not really negative at all, maybe a little grainy, especially noticeable on the cross. Good luck. |

Storm Brewingby GraciousComment by inspzil: Cool sky. Cool background. The boats really lack the crispness that I feel is essential in this type of shot. It is a good concept, just a point of clarity really. |

Storm Brewingby GraciousComment by autool: A wonderful sky and marina. I feel that it could have been much better if you could have placed a boat or other nautical item in the foreground and had the rest of the picture beyond it. This would add character and interest to the overall picture. Did you use a polarizing filter on this? If so great resullts in the sky. 7 |

Storm Brewingby GraciousComment by jerrft: The clouds in this picture appear to "pop" off the sky. The blue-green water is also nice. Good job. |
