I gave this shot a 5. I like the composition and feel the b&w works well here. The perspective from the floor is nice. The "yuck" factor is too strong for me to want to stay with the shot.

Excellent minimalistic approach while keeping shadows and texture and grain enough to prevent that studio look. The color may be a bit forced (or desaturated) but it works here. I like it!

Ha! I wondered if I should have done Moffet & Gatiss's take - A Study in Pink for this. Nice to see a nod to Sherlock in the challenge:-) I do like the person studying the art piece on the wall - the art piece makes me think of the rooms/boxes we occupy or enclose ourselves in. Are they truly rosy or is that just how one perceives it as such.
