Nice form study. I like the composition here with the angle. I think there is just not enough light and it is a bit underexposed leaving it kind of grey. Rather than using a longer shutter speed, I think leaving that the same and getting some more light on the subject would have helped. I am no pro though... all my images came out real flat!!
