You have some decent ideas here, but I think the setup/lighting could use a little work to make this do better. My ideas:
* The harsh gradient of light isn't helping in this case. This is a photo I would like to see with a pretty evenly lit background.
* The vase with the ribbons adds some festiveness, but what is that brown mesh thing? That's really throwing me off.
