Old Glass #2by thrumyiisComment by bassbone: Much better work with the still life. The lighting is very subtle due to the light painting and the organization of the objects makes sense, with the more straight on organization a classic look. I wonder about the focus. It seems very soft. Are each of the individual images making up the final product as soft as this, or was the softness due to the combination of the images? |

Old Glass #2by thrumyiisComment by MacDonald: Lovely - you did an excellent job of incorporating all the technical advice given and it shows - this shot doesn't have the set up look the other one did .. it looks as if it is a wonderful decoration in someones home. I agree with Ann and the others that you might improve it a tad more if you utilize their suggestions but as it stand, I would give it a very high vote. |

Old Glass #2by thrumyiisComment by Abra: I must agree with the others. This is definitely an improvement and a wonderful image. The props supplement the bottles nicely. |

Old Glass #2by thrumyiisComment by Dennisheckman: I agree this is far better version. Nice improvements. I for one however do not have any real world advice to offer. Stills are still on my try to get better list. Right now, I am horrible at stills. |

Old Glass #2by thrumyiisComment by HarveyG: I agree with Ann. Vastly better attempt at a still. one other suggestion beyond Ann's, try manual focus on the letters on "Schweppes" as they appear OOF (Out of focus) vs the cutting blade and "Rosella". I'd move the blade more to the photographers right as it aids the visibility on the lettering. The wooden wall is a great touch from a tecture POV but it doesn't help the lettering stand out. |
