Well Red...by thrumyiisComment by thrumyiis: [quote=kasaba] Just curious, did you turn the bottle 1/2 way on purpose? If so, why?
Thanks for your comments, yes I did turn the bottle on purpose, I guess I didnt want the label competing with everything else, plus its just a cheap bottle of wine, had it been an old Grange then I probably would have shown it. :) |

Well Red...by thrumyiisComment by kasaba: This does look very natural and the glass is lovely. Just curious, did you turn the bottle 1/2 way on purpose? If so, why?
A few changes and you may have something for the wabi sabi challenge :-) |

Well Red...by thrumyiisComment by nam: Very nice and I like the idea of the addition of the glass of wine to this set-up. Seems as if you could try it in different positions in the composition - as if someone had been enjoying a read and a glass of wine and had just set it down for a moment. Focus is excellent and I really like the subdued lighting you are getting. |

Wilson A2140 (3rd crop)by thrumyiisComment by nam: I like this best, too. Love the tones. I like the glove on a diagonal but not so much the background. Could you try rotating the placement so that you can get the effect of a horizontal grain in the background but a pretty strong diagonal on the glove? |

Well Red...by thrumyiisComment by Ann: Nicely done. One of your better ones. Lighting glass well is hard. Lighting glass this way is even harder.
Given what you're working on, you might get a copy of "Light, Science and Magic." It's an excellent book, all about how to light. What works, what doesn't, and why. Good book. |

Wilson A2140 (3rd crop)by thrumyiisComment by Ann: This is the best of the three, although I might like something that's somewhere in between crop #1 and this one. Basically, this crop, only with a bit more of the right side of the glove. |
