Anger Managementby michael_pComment by Neuferland: Been there, done that, chain smoking when I was really, REALLY, REALLY angry! Good set up but the shot is still wanting. The focus needs to be sharper and the cropping is off. The cutting off the the filter and the corner of the crumpled pack is distracting. I had a 3 on tis but will go to a 4 since the lighting is well done and the colors look really good. |

HRH Queen Elizabeth II Prideby michael_pComment by tfaust: Swans are incredibly beautiful and graceful. There seems to a bit too much light on the back, it gets a little washed out. I wish there weren't a shadow across her face. Nicely composed. |

HRH Queen Elizabeth II Prideby michael_pComment by bruski: Would have liked to have seen the birds head more in focus. Some of the feathers look too blown out or hot. But I like the composition and the subject, however. |

HRH Queen Elizabeth II Prideby michael_pComment by dr rick: Very graceful. A more effective composition would have more space in front of the bird than behind it. But that's not always easy when shooting moving animals with a sluggish camera. |

Laughing Into The Face of Deathby michael_pComment by nborton: i'm going to guess that you aren't do so well due to the violence. its too bad, because some of the best pictures are not warm and fuzzy. i like your shot, and hope you do well. |

HRH Queen Elizabeth II Prideby michael_pComment by TooCool: Nice crop and composition! Was this taken with a zoom? With shots like this, it is not easy to take full advantage of the light. In this instance the back of the swan is a touch over exposed but the face and front are in shadow making the focal point of the shot hard to determine. A little patience and luck and you might have a perfect shot!
