Leading lines or curves generally have two purposes. One is to lead the viewer into the scene. The other is to lead you toward the main subject. It is most effective if they come in from the lower left because that is the natural direction humans visually scan a picture so easiest to pick up.

The line leads nicely to the white structure but its small size and the fact that it is overexposed will not be much of a visual payoff for most voters.

I have no idea what 1066 Monument is other than your title says so. I like the picture a lot. I think the idea is a good one. Just wish you could see more of whatever the monument is to make more sense out of it.

I know the path is intended to be your leading line and that is nice, however, I don't really care for this angle for the monument. The position of the sun shines directly on it and overexposes it, therefore it looks like just a blob of bright white. You have nice clouds, though, so I think if the monument wasn't there, it would be a very nice picture. 6
