Chicken Stripsby DuctylComment by quiche: Humorous concept. My spouse thought this would be even funnier if you'd put some kind of head on the bird, such as a woody or a rubber duckie head. Lighting needs work. It looks pretty flat on the front of the bird and yet is casting a harsh shadow behind the bird. |

Chicken Stripsby DuctylComment by SaraR: Took me a little while to get this - I can be a bit dense. A good pun, but the photo doesn't really work for me on a technical level. |

Going, going...by DuctylComment by Pangurban: Not sure if intentional or not but am reading this as 'Nae Going Street' which is just perfect with the stop sign! |

Going, going...by DuctylComment by quiche: A fun juxtaposition of the street name and the stop sign. There's a lot going on in the image (stop sign, street name, tree top, power lines), and the harsh shadow on the top of the sign is also a distraction. |

Going, going...by DuctylComment by Phocal: I am taking part in the "Comment on the first 10 photos during voting" challenge and you are photo #1
I really like the humor between the two signs along with the perspective and composition of the photograph.
Removing the power lines would have made it a much better photograph. Also, when shooting, stopping down the lens for a greater field of view would have given you a much stronger image. Would have been nice if the tree and clouds were in focus and showing some detail. Maybe even waiting for a pretty blue sky with nice white puffy clouds. |

Domesticated Elementsby DuctylComment by George: Nice take on the challenge :)
Oh wait, Bear_Music said the same thing below. But really... different from the rest of the top 10, and well executed. Congrats on your finish. |

Domesticated Elementsby DuctylComment by Bear_Music: Regarding the editing question, you could have turned the arc of the balloon green, and that would have been perfectly OK, no question whatsoever. Personally, I think you could have cloned it out altogether and not gotten close to being in trouble, but I've been wrong before.
Nice take on the challenge: certainly more creative than mine :-) Congrats on top-10. |
