Comment by quiche:
Humorous concept. My spouse thought this would be even funnier if you'd put some kind of head on the bird, such as a woody or a rubber duckie head. Lighting needs work. It looks pretty flat on the front of the bird and yet is casting a harsh shadow behind the bird.

Took me a little while to get this - I can be a bit dense. A good pun, but the photo doesn't really work for me on a technical level.

Not sure if intentional or not but am reading this as 'Nae Going Street' which is just perfect with the stop sign!

Think they used long enough bolts? Nice lighting and colors.

A fun juxtaposition of the street name and the stop sign. There's a lot going on in the image (stop sign, street name, tree top, power lines), and the harsh shadow on the top of the sign is also a distraction.

I am taking part in the "Comment on the first 10 photos during voting" challenge and you are photo #1

I really like the humor between the two signs along with the perspective and composition of the photograph.

Removing the power lines would have made it a much better photograph. Also, when shooting, stopping down the lens for a greater field of view would have given you a much stronger image. Would have been nice if the tree and clouds were in focus and showing some detail. Maybe even waiting for a pretty blue sky with nice white puffy clouds.

Nice take on the challenge :)

Oh wait, Bear_Music said the same thing below. But really... different from the rest of the top 10, and well executed. Congrats on your finish.

Regarding the editing question, you could have turned the arc of the balloon green, and that would have been perfectly OK, no question whatsoever. Personally, I think you could have cloned it out altogether and not gotten close to being in trouble, but I've been wrong before.

Nice take on the challenge: certainly more creative than mine :-) Congrats on top-10.
