A square crop is certainly no easy task in a landscape; the smoke and buildings help but there is a clarity here that is stunning; again a nice use of a crimson foreground-leading the eye on diagonals to one of many focal points. The utter giant centered darkness of the sky may be a distraction to some, but I feel it adds to the nature of the drama.

Great angle here. From a standpoint of Critique purely based upon color; its fantastic- but perhaps the color makes the composition, the warm-gold and pattern contrasting with the cool-street and shadow people in the middle, then the warm again with the crimson; it just works well- broken up perfectly by the pillars. Excellent shot.

You found a beautiful spot here, I'd love to see more of these in color and with soft lighting- don't get me wrong, the black and white has a classic feel to it that is lovely with the snow and works quite well in value and contrast; however, your description demands that more photos be seen...

Great lighting here; when we have such a small subject at times it is difficult to have perspective; perhaps in music that is called "headroom"- here you have achieved a great amount with very little.
