Love the juxtaposition of the two subjects. The figure in the painting is looking in one direction seemingly staring straight back and any viewer who will meet her gaze. Then there is an art observer who is looking in the opposite direction gazing at something else and failing to meet the watchful stare of the portrait lady.

Absolutely beautiful. My favorite of the challenge
