Your picture is really well composed. It just doesn't have enough contrast to make it stand out as a black and white picture. Everything is about the same shade of gray. I think perhaps if you would have adjusted the levels more and made the highlights lighter and the shadows darker it would have really sprung to life as a black and white photograph.

Good concept, I feel the composition could have been stronger. The poles in the back are distracting; a shallower DOF would have helped reduce their prominince in the frame. The shadow on the stong also makes it harder to read than some of the ones in the background.
