Lost Childhoodby NeuferlandComment by bpickard: Here the idea/mood is only provided by the title. What could be done to improve the photo? I think the buggy is too modern. Perhaps, an adult figure is needed maybe somewhere in the background (out of focus). Lighting a bit too full-on. How about b/w or sepia to give a bit of nostalgia.......just ideas. |

Young and Oldby NeuferlandComment by EL-ROI: Wow... shutter speed of 1/15. Not good for shooting people as they move around quite a bit. (Hence the motion blur on the boy.) With the FP 3800, I wouldn't even try to shoot people with a shutter speed less than 1/100.
So that's motion blur, not a focus problem in the foreground. You can see the depth created by f2.8 in the window frame in the background.
Good greyscale conversion! |

Lost Childhoodby NeuferlandComment by melismatica: Nice effort but this just says to me, "Baby carriage in the middle of a field". The baby carriage without the baby is not interesting enough to be a main visual element, no matter what you title the picture. |

Young and Oldby NeuferlandComment by beckettboots: Fabulous candid. I love the focus on the woman, and then the motion blur on the child. It gives another sense of opposition - the stillness of age and wisdom compared to the exhuberance and activitiy of youth. I just wish that little window or frame wasn't up in the background. The textures on her face are wonderful. |

Lost Childhoodby NeuferlandComment by Zoomdak: Image seems way too over sharpened. and seems a bit over exposed as well. I like the border, and it's a cool idea. |

Lost Childhoodby NeuferlandComment by e301: Difficult balance to achieve between concentration on this old pushchair and a suitable sense of isolation. Seems like quite a lot of sharpening has gone on - has that brittle, fine pixelation. I quite like the shot, but it isn't completely getting through to me. 5 |
