I love the title! It was communicated very well in the photo. Great DOF that drew attention to the thorn.

Comment by Neuferland:
Very nice idea and the off center works because of the plant on the right. I think I would have liked to seen a little more open crop on the top to finish out the arch above the statue and just a tad more sharpness on the statue. Maybe a little higher angle too so you could see more of her face? Started at a 5, finishing with a 7

The first thing I noticed about this shot was the highly contrasting colors. It grabs the attention of the viewer and really helps the pattern of the markers seem infinite.

When I first looked at it, I thought the green on the right needed to be more rows of markers, but after studying it for a while, I think I like the open area. It gives a "beginning" to the infinity, and splits the picture into two sections.

The focus seems just a hair off (not immediately noticeable). Perhpas a larger aperture number and a slower shutter would help to really get those details showing good.

Nice work, and best to you in future challenges.

ouch, what is that book about? I think having the roses a bit more our of focus would work better and maybe have jsut a couple stems to simplify and concentrate on the line on thorns against the dark background. Background in slightly green - use a color cast tool to remove (or does that desaturate the green in the plants too much?)

Very good photo. I like the use of lights and the soft focus. Too bad you had to sacrifice those beautiful roses but well... art ask for sacrifices. :):):)
