not sure I'm a fan of the border...but I do like your processing...after the challenge I would love to see this with a couple of overlays on it...it would really set it off and make it into a wonderful picture to hang in your home

Great sky. I always appreciate the dilemma of wanting to capture a towering sky in portrait format. It rarely works well. Another option is taking a series of shots in portrait format and stitching the shots together to make a panorama. Of course, that wouldn't have worked for this challenge.

I really like the soft lighting. I know some times elements in a image is out of our control, but in this case I would had removed the books out of the image. Very nice
