getting to the top is only half the journey.

would like to see more detail here, bottom 1/4 on the right seems to be nice and crisp, everything else looks like you're shooting this with too wide of an aperture and you are losing some much needed detail to really make this a "wow" image (in my opinion).

the vista itself is framed well, and I love the shadows, but for scoring, would really love the sharpness all over the mountain.

I agree completely. That was my first thought as well, but I'm not sure exactly what it is about the image. Maybe the juxtaposition of the older looking man and the young, vibrant woman? It really tells a story.
