I'm not sure this composition realy works - the CD just doesn't have enough texture to make it interesting. If it is a music CD it might have been better with the printed face up.

Please don't be offended by this comment, but this shot is so overdone. In almost every challenge somebody will take a photo of a CD, an old camera, a cell phone, etc. Please go out and shoot some photos in the real world. Or be more creative. Don't just shoot what's on the desk beside the computer.

Don't get me wrong, it is well executed. The lighting is good, the focus is bang on, etc. Also it meets the challenge. But shouldn't there be more to it than that? 5
