Watery Reflectionby lwkimagesComment by moodville: Good idea and quite a fancy mirror. The background foliage seems in to be focus and the rocks at the bottom are out of focus. Because of the candle/vase my eyes are going down there and the OOF is a little distracting. Changing the focus point or else using a smaller aperature to get the entire scene in focus may have helped some. |

Adams & Westlake "Kero" Lanternby lwkimagesComment by faithriko: In my opinion there is no backlight enhacing the value of the subject, there is a diffuse lighting! Nice object and good focus.
- UPDATE: I was wrong with my backlighting idea, it should not be a direct source. This was one of my first votes in this challenge. |

Come visit the Mighty Niagara!by lwkimagesComment by neilxt: I like this picture almost despite itself. Many photographers would have taken some effort to slow down the camera and get a silky effect on the moving water - but to me this looks better; it showes the grandeur and power of the falls instead of trying to make it looks soft. |
