Adams & Westlake "Kero" Lanternby lwkimagesComment by MrsFuzzButt: "For backlighting, I resurrected two old Honeywell Strobonar 200's - one aimed into the back of the lantern from just below the covered stool on which I placed the lantern."
I'd like to see what you would get with just this lighting. Eliminating the front lighting which far overpowered the back would make for a far more effective backlighting photo. Otherwise, because it was such a quality photo to begin with I gave you a 7. Had this been in a still life challenge, you would have gotten a 10 from me.

Watery Reflectionby lwkimagesComment by parrothead: WOW! I just love the idea! If only you straightened the mirror and concentrated on that, and the vase, I bet you would have won. I still loveit! |

Watery Reflectionby lwkimagesComment by Damian: Very nice picture and idea, my only suggestion would be to enlarge the aperature so that the pot would be more in focus. Great shot. |
