Really loved this picture. Looks so much like a painting, and definitely gives a feel of an artist thinking about his work. The only thing that might have supported the image better was perhaps a brush in his hand, to really match the title, or maybe placing an unfinished canvas behind him as a background.

I have been playing with slower shutter speeds and my horses (motion blur) lately but hesitate to post them because I dont think a lot of people will "get" them. I liked this shot but also thought it was more a reflection than What. It would look great framed on a wall, nice abstract. It just didnt have that Wow factor that I look for when voting on this particular challenge but it is great in its own right! A series of these in this style would be great as a collection.

Edit to add, I have just looked at your portfolio and have to agree I saw more there that I love and make this one look a bit sterile in comparison, still like it though LOL. Great shots!

I love most all of your abstracts. This is not one of them - I gave you a 5. For me, your abstracts are about motion. This one doesn't have a sense of movement about it. I think it is due to the blue at the bottom. It kind of stops the flow. The colors here don't stand out, they just lay there. So many others you have created just jump off the page at me but this one didn't do it. Sorry!
