Kaaterskill Cascadesby NeilComment by Louis: Lovely photograph, nice composition that brings the eye through various portions of the photograph via the ribbon of water. I also like the almost "V" shape of some of the rocks that help to point to the lower basin of water. Very pretty. |

Kaaterskill Cascadesby NeilComment by ShutterPug: Love the colors and composition. The only thing I would have liked more of is the top - where is the water coming from? You have done a great job of using a slow shutter speed for the flow of the water, yet kept sharp detail in the rocks. |

Smoothby NeilComment by taterbug: This is very cool. I guess it would be a minimalist abstract? Very engaging, I can look at this for quite some time (in fact I did). It is just so very complex in it's simplicity, if that makes any sense. The lighting, or bright to dark 'motion' is really great. |

Van Gogh Skyby NeilComment by taterbug: Hadn't seen this one before Neil. Really nice. Totally inviting, the image just really draws you into it. Not only nice colors and motion, but neat how the shift from blues into the oranges make for a nice vertical split of the shot too. Composed great, the photo grabs your attention, then the eyes follow the split and the colors towards the top left, then the motion brings you back around to start over again. Great abstract! |

Flowing 'a'by NeilComment by taterbug: Very warm, yet soothing colors here. The color compliments very nicely the wonderful vertical flow of the shot. I can practically feel the motion, makes me want to sway back and forth in my chair. Very nice shot! |

Complementary Flowby NeilComment by justin_hewlett: Great shot, Neil. I really like it, and this is severly underrated. It's too bad that abstracts such as these score poorly here at DPC. |
