Kelseyby NeilComment by LVicari: Nice crisp shot! I don't mind the green bg. I would probably deepen the green on it though to make it less in your face . |

The Endby NeilComment by dahlin: I don't take it quite the way Yo_Spiff does. I do get that it's the end of his life, but I don't necessarily see sadness. What's sad about getting to live the length of life that this man has been able to live. We all grow older. We all die. Longevity is all we can ask for. This man has achieved that.
I also think the fishey works well here. It pulls you into his soul a bit and makes him stand out from the background.
Obviously a powerful shot that's getting a lot of reaction and analysis. Well done. |

Hat Girlby NeilComment by spiritualspatula: The spotlight effect you've got here just makes this shot. Her illumination, along with that of the wares, are great. I particularly like the left side of the frame, which is illuminated but muted, which pulls us towards her in the back, yet still acts as an effective part of the scene. |

Grand Entranceby NeilComment by spiritualspatula: What an awesome use of a fisheye. It's so exaggerated and the architecture is such that it almost feels Escher-esque, like the ceiling is curling open above us (sorta like what happens in Inception, if you've seen that....) Very cool. |

The Endby NeilComment by agrimace: The slight distortion adds to the effect of looking in on the man. The lighting and the table add to a kind voyeuristic feel. |
