Is this the backside of the feather?
The main subject that the eye is drawn to (where the stalk ends), is a bit bland with no texture or anything to make it interesting I think. Might look better from farther away or from the front of the feather with more texture or color or design to give the focal point more interest.

That must be mist/fog from a river and/or falls, as the trees below are covered in ice and the trees further up are not. Very interesting photo. Very nice as well.
