Continentsby mannjuditComment by cghubbell: Looks like the image could be a bit sharper, and there aren't enough points of interest to create the "gotcha" effect. |

Raindropsby mannjuditComment by mannjudit: Thanks to everybody for voting and commenting! Everybody who remarked the out-of-focus blade was right: I simply didn't dare to touch the subject or move in fear of falling of the drops! |

A Small Universeby mannjuditComment by wewillexplore: Greetings from the Critique Club!
The focus on this shot could have been a bit better, though I am not familiar with your camera so perhaps it could not have been with your equipment. This was a spectacular find, but if you could have just gotten it a bit sharper, it would have helped tremendously.
I also think I don't see the need for all the negative space at the bottom of this photo. I would have cropped a bit tighter and used the fully 640 height to show the detail in the droplet.
Happy shooting and good luck!

Raindropsby mannjuditComment by NRRon: Excellent picture, but how it relates to the specific challenge is not clear. Had to score it much lower than it deserves as a picture per se. |

Raindropsby mannjuditComment by beckettboots: Lovely demonstration of proportion - the different sizes of the drops of water, with the largest one pushing its boundaries. Nice color saturation. I find the out of focus blade in the foreground a little distracting to the overall composition. Very nice ... gives me a soothing feeling. |

Raindropsby mannjuditComment by bruski: I really like the color and the compositiion. The choice of focus works good for me as well. It does look to be a bit over sharpened however. In any case I really like this image. |
