Nice idea, but the photo's definition isn't the best... Colours seem a bit odd too (the water on the bottom of the photo makes it look like extreme curves treatment).

Had you picked some of the leaves off and left some in such a way as to mirror the well caught pattern created by the boats this would have been more effective. The focus on the boats also makes the branch seem like a mistake and it got in the way. They would still have been obvious as boats with their shape if you focused on the leaves and not them.
