Nice picture.
At first I was only looking at the tiles being the parallel lines, but then I realized that the folds of the snow are also parallel.
Well almost parallel!

To me this photo says silence more than the others. If you've ever been in the forest after a heavy wet snow you know how quiet it is. Not only are there few animals around, but the snow and cloud cover deaden any noise. The only thing I think would have given us more silence is to have eliminated the road (it reminds me of cars-noise). However the twisting road adds nice composition.

very nice - for me it would have worked more if the very dark trunks on the left were echoed by the fence/guardrail at the right having a little more substance/dark themselves, it feels a bit unbalanced
