Yes , there is a back light but the main illumination is from the front. Not a strong use of the possibilities of contre-jour.

Pretty outdoor portrait. I might've cloned out those two leaves in the upper left, or colored them tan to match the rest of the background. I just find them a little distracting.

i'm interested in your camera settings and the resulting grain/noise .. was that intentional to have such a fast shutter speed and high iso .. :)


I shoot this with my SONY A7RiV and not my old A7Rii, in this camera the grain is more noticeable in high ISO all other param was due to this lens limitation not fast lens so I pick F-7.1 , I almost always work with aperture priority so the ISO and shutter speed the camera pick for me .
