Vigilantby kanajComment by Barroness: Gorgeous! Great find and capture. Stunning bird, I am not fimular with the Red-shouldered Hawk, I am with a Red-Tail Hawk, they can be found in the NY area. I have had the oppertunity to photograph Falconers, the birds are so beautiful. |

I definitely thought about it. I was going back and forth on whether it was worth the extra effort to get rid of it--sometimes the results are underwhelming. But if this image should be favored for the calendar and others felt it was worth it, I would definitely be willing to submit a "B" version without the fence so a final decision could be made on it. :-) |
Not cloning, but removing the fence was the first thing I thought about. Photoshop's Remove tool works like magic in way less time than trying to clone it out. Either way, though, it's a great image, made better without the fence, IMO. |
