Part of the fun of the challenge is comparing the photos to the work of the photographers they're paying tribute to. I can't figure out who that would be in this case. I actually like this photo quite a bit. Focus and lighting on the subject is quite good. DOF was well chosen. If I knew whose style you were emulating and if I could determine it's representative, I could have scored this image 2-3 points higher.
