I think the point of the challenge was to use direct harsh sunlight and here you have used the shade of the building. That is certainly a technique to overcome the harsh light at noon, but I think it missed the point of te challenge, which was to battle the harsh light when you had no choice but to shoot in it.

The angle of the shot makes it difficult see how this fits the challenge, this could have been taken at pretty much anytime.
