Photo could definitely do with more tonal contrast. Composition feels very chaotic to me. The pipe, glass and foreground chess pieces all seem to blend into each other, which lessens the impact of the shot. More could have been made of the refraction in the glass. Background needs to be more black. You need to find a way of avoiding the glare on the glass and pipe. Nice idea though... 5

Much too cluttered (for my tastes) to be restful though it does convey hobbies/ pastimes. Interesting reflection of board within glass. Seems very soft, and not in a way that enhances the image (for me).
