Neat shot - love the concept. It would have been nice if you'd gotten some color in the sky. With the absense of color, though, the road isn't quite interesting enough for this to be a really powerful shot. Maybe if you had framed it so there was more diagonal road? 7 - chrisab.

A very beautiful corner of my world, too! Now, if we could keep the idiots from burning 'them thar hills'! I really do love how the road draws meforward into the distance. Makes me want to travel just a little bit further to see what is over the next hill.
Too bad you couldn't get a little more blue in the sky, but oh well. Might be a little too yellow, too. A 10 from me.

what color was the sky? i guess the ground is so light that the light meter makes the sky disappear. tried different times of day? your grandma must love all the stars at night, i'm jealous. tried long exposures at night? they come out real nice sometimes.
