Seems too scattered/cluttered to have any large effect. I think a nice stack of cards, a nice stack of cash, and a few stacks of change would've have a larger effect.

On my monitor, it seems a little dark...the sky is light brownish grey and it gives it a kind of ominous feeling. Lots of artifacts?

This seems a little dark. The overcast sky (I assume it was overcast, anyway)does make you focus on the greens. My eye is continually drawn to the red object, but I can't quite make it out. I'm breaking one of my own self-imposed rules (suggesting a 'much' different shot) but I think I might have shot this on a sunnier day with a bright blue sky.
