Thanks Ben. Not bad for the circumstances. I set the camera to imprint the data on the edge. It did it for only one neg out of 16 :( The camera is missing the diopter (on order) so I'm shooting totally blind (I can see blobs). It is set aperture priority (here f/2.8) and AF, I checked the lcd screen and saw it was going to be 1/8 shutter so I breathed in and braced myself. Message edited by author 2012-10-24 04:05:19. |

Sarah @ dinnerby daisydavidComment by daisydavid: I referred to this because I was always getting pink & muddy tainted negatives. So at 20deg Celcius the fix time recommended by Ilford was 2-4 minutes, I just multiplied by 4 and added 2 minutes(? because). Sparkling clean, no pink, no violet, just clean negs for the tmax 400 and the ilford 3200. I dont mind the extra time, I'll experiment to cut the time down with a roll or two, later. I find both types of negs more sensitive to picking up dust just out of the wash.
