Waterfallby peeceeComment by MikeO: good effect, a little stronger contrast would have helped with this but its a good shot |

Shattered Glassby peeceeComment by e301: difficult to look at - both to find a point for the eye to rest, and actually in the purely physical sense of perceiing anything ot be in focus - only in the very top of frame can I find a place where i think ican get hold of something in frame. As with so many shots, a sense of patterning rather than of texture. |

Black Holeby peeceeComment by dr rick: Interesting idea, but the black center seems out of place compared to the outside background. |

Waterfallby peeceeComment by sfalice: I very much like the justaposition of the rock and the falls. The various textures of the water are also interesting, especially with the rock acting as a foil. |

Shattered Glassby peeceeComment by dtouch1: I wanted to do kinda of the same thing, but put the shattered pieces in a box and shoot them in the sunlight, but i couldnt find a window that I wanted to break. |

Shattered Glassby peeceeComment by sfalice: You found an interesting pattern in this textured glass. Certainly meets the challenge. If you had been able to find a bit of color in the background, it might have added some needed contrast to this otherwise very nice image. |

Black Holeby peeceeComment by jenesis: Hmmmm, pushing it, pushing it, pushing it .... If not for your title this really wouldn't fit the challenge. Yes, I see the black hole but to me the main subject of this picture is the lifesaver and we all know they're not black. Way to think out of the box though. But technically speaking the focus is a little soft and there is a little noise in the background. Nice Try. :) |
