Eye of the Beholderby peeceeComment by snackwells: Colours are a bit flat as there appears to be atmospheric haze with the overcast sky in this shot. But what a fantastic location to take photographs! Overall well composed and a majestic scenery. |

Ribblehead Viaductby peeceeComment by _starla_: I love the placement of the subject in this picture. Not too high, not too low, perfectly cutting across the picture. It makes it streamline, and smooth, and gives off the feeling of fluidity. The darkening grey of the sky also adds to the dimension of the photo.
Being a left-to-right reader I especially enjoy the perspective. If this was taken in mirror image I don't think I'd like it as much.
My only slight negative is that I'm not too keen on the hill to the right. It breaks the fluidity of the architecture and sky and it looks a bit choppy.
Still a great picture though. |

Ribblehead Viaductby peeceeComment by ubique: This is a striking photograph of an impressive structure. The composition/perspective is sympathetic & the framing/cropping emphasises the viaduct's character. 8. |
