	nest building season by coolhar Comment by photom: Nice try, but this image has a few detractors for me: 1) Background is very hot and busy, 2) the horizontal and vertical lines through the birds head (window frame), 4) Base of the image is a bit too much.

	the midday sun warms an old man's muscles by coolhar Comment by janfries: I like this photo a lot, but would prefer it to be framed a little better. I am sure it was difficult to control the framing. Colors, lighting and focus were excellent. I vote 7.

	the midday sun warms an old man's muscles by coolhar Comment by jpochard: Pretty good head of hair for an "old" man! I'm not really sure what your "take" on the challenge is here. What he's doing doesn't seem to require much strength. Maybe (from the title) you mean the sun.

	Bellevue Wharf by coolhar Comment by photom: The dirty glass adds a lot to this image. Because of the framing the picture seems to be off horizontal. My eye wants to rotate the image counter-clockwise a bit.

	Bellevue Wharf by coolhar Comment by beckettboots: I like the composition and subject - I wish it were slightly more saturated, but I realize that may be the reality of the type of window and perhaps you don't want to stray to far from what it actually looked like. I like that the window is dirty though
