bad boy gets a time outby coolharComment by moodville: The first thing I notice is that the boy sticks out from the background as his toning/contrast is quite different from the rest of the image. It almost looks like he was pasted into the shot. The composition is good, and the detail on the branches are good with the mix of light and shadow. The boy looks too light and could probably do with some more contrast so to blend in a little more. |

bad boy gets a time outby coolharComment by mijak: I think it would have been a stronger image if the boy had not been looking out of the picture. The subject implies a lonely boy contemplating whatever, but I can't help getting the feeling he is watching something just outside the left edge. If he had been placed more to the right, it would look more as if he stared into nothingness, since there would more "nothing" to see in the picture.
That said, this is a very good shot. |

bad boy gets a time outby coolharComment by MrAkamai: LOL, I can totally relate to this as my nephew gets these often. It looks like it was overexposed or just too much adjusting of the levels. There are excellent details of everything down to the leaves and the boy's hair. |

bad boy gets a time outby coolharComment by andywightman: There's something odd about the boy - in particular the head seems to have been subjected to excess editing - as if it's been pasted in. This detracts significantly from the appeal. Phot apears a bit overexposed also. Otherwise a nice composition. |

bad boy gets a time outby coolharComment by Neil: I like the shot and use of B&W. Looks like you selectively reduced the contrast on the boy--it sticks out that he looks like he has too little contrast, and yet the background contrast looks perfect. I don't understand why you would do that here. |

bad boy gets a time outby coolharComment by pmichaud: Good composition. I might have increased contrast a bit on his shirt, nothing drastic. Picture certainly tells a story. Good luck in the challenge. |

No Trespassingby coolharComment by whagerbaumer: Nice work on foreground. Reminds me of prow of ship. But, one solid color for background, even if nearly right color for perfect contrast to rust? It looks like the weather person on TV without the weather.
A 7 for an excellent foreground. |
