Berries and Creamby KelliComment by bmartuch: I know, you were just trying to make people drool weren't you. I think that more of a closeup on the berries would have helped. JMO. |

Double Bubbleby KelliComment by akcoffeeguy: Good idea, but the photo looks too much like a snap shoot. Would have been nice to see some better lighting, a different angle (perhaps a profile), and changing it to black and white would have been nice. Hopefully this helps for future shots. |

Exposedby KelliComment by see: A) this does not suck!
B) this is not out of the box!
A + B = it should have scored much higher on DPC.

Berries and Creamby KelliComment by h2: very red, but not appetizing, too much smeared stuff in the glass, better use fresh fruit next time |

Iceburg...Dead Ahead!by KelliComment by skewsme: Ack, I'm sorry I didn't comment on this during the challenge. I liked it! I gave it a 7. I don't understand how it wound up with a 5.28. The subject is unmistakeable and so fitting and the shot has that gorgeous depth and sky. And it makes me feel like going out to the Delaware to see what's going on :) P.S. I see the shade was criticized. I think it's a natural-looking photo, which has merit. Sometimes I use the flash (as fill) or a flashlight to paint in shady cases like this. Doesn't always work out. |
