Very bright flower! I suspect the white is areas where something nibbled or scraped off the top layer of the petal.

Don't think I like the corner bits on the frame. I can see they're from the palette but they look like they clash at first glance. Something much darker might work better, or maybe no corner holders?

I've never gotten a good dragonfly shot, so you're doing well on that count. Shot is a little too contrasty, IMO.

I'm gonna' go with: it's the dragonfly version of a bad hangover ;-) You did get some nice shine in the wings. Any shot with detail on a dragonfly is one to be proud of!
