It's amazing how they sometimes have those human expressions. IMO, a bit off the top (crop, not hair) may make the composition a bit stronger.

This was such a great capture. I guess focus was the main issue on it, but still, it is a great picture. I did not vote but it is a shame it didn't do better in the ratings. Shots like this are not easy to get.

Great color and sharp focus so we get to see all the lovely details of this Dart Poison Frog! Your lighting is excellent too - much better than my attempt for I did not get good eye color like you did. Again great capture - these little buggers don't stay still long enough for one to focus on them before they hop off (they are constantly moving).
