Nice work. Lucky you. I'd really like to see that aviary. I wonder what those birds with the large bills are. They're shaped like kookaburras, but the colors don't look like the one I've seen at the Palm Beach Zoo.

It's a nicely developed scene. Maybe even a little more cropping would give that beautiful bird a bit more zing - as if it needed it.

There's a heck of a lot of JPEG compression artifacts showing in this, but your file size is reasonable. I am guessing you may have saved and reopened the JPG a few time while working on this. Always save your work in progress as a noncompressed format. PSD for photoshop, PSPIMAGE for PaintShop Pro, or a TIF also works. Save as JPG only when you make your final output.
