There are two things I like about this image: (1) the idea of using color to simulate a storm or rough waters, and (2) the blue colors themselves and the way they fill the whole frame. Having said that, I am not a fan of posterizing and other heavy filters. Here it is particularly tough, because the subject is glass which by its nature is transparent. The posterized treatment comes right through the glass and makes the focal point of the picture hard to discern. With glass, less is more IMHO.

Wow! Very cool! Nice addition to your top row, too! Really a lovely capture - extremely well framed with the camera. Good color and sharpness for fireworks. Well done!

I gave this a 6 because by gosh, it wasn't just another flower! I thought it fit for a flower challenge around the 4th of July just fine, but then I'm weird. I kinda like the long horizontal crop, too. I suspect a lot of the scoring is either DNMC related or crop related.

I will be up front and say that most of the figurine type shots just didnt grab my attention in this challenge. I think your shot was too heavily processed. The figurine detail gets lost in the funky tones and textures of the colors in the background. It has a messy feel to it and no real focus. Just distracting in general. I scored a 5 because you did at least try to be creative with your shot where other figurine shots scored less because they were just flat out boring with no creativity. Here you tried but the results were not that good in my eyes. (But I wear glasses so take this opinion for what its worth.)

Too early for the challenge? Aww, hard luck. This is a really great shot, with the skyline and bridge giving the fireworks context. Composition is great, the only thing I might change is use curves/levels to darken the skies a tad, just to make them a deeper black.

Hmmm...I have to say that this one doesn't really do anything for me. At first I thought you suffered badly from JPEG compression, but I see that you used posterize so that effect was intentional. I'm personally not keen on posterize, but thats just me, I don't tend to like shots that look too heavily processed.

One thing that would really have helped would be if the boat was more obviously a boat - even with the title I'm struggling to figure it out. Also, the composition is very centralized, which makes it much more static

This is a beautiful shot, and should have done better I think. The only problem is that the bokeh seems rather arbitrary (and scarce), rather than an integral part that enhances the photo.
However, outside of the challenge topic, I love the colours and the focus/DOF is perfect. Whilst the crop is quite tight, this works quite well I believe.

I agree with others that in order to meet the challenge more you needed a wider pov to include more bokeh.
