elephantplay.jpgby KelliComment by hanneke: ooh Dombo! :P
I think you captured a nice moment here, and the frozen water looks neat. Maybe crop a bit on the top & right, to get rid of the top of the building & the rock? |

Zoo Vet - The caring man behind the scenesby KelliComment by Kelli: Originally posted by maryba: Poignant is what comes to mind when I look at this photograph. At least someone at the Philadelphia zoo cared enough about the elephants to find them new homes. |
Though they have always seemed happy to me. I wish them well, but will really miss them. |

Zoo Vet - The caring man behind the scenesby KelliComment by posthumous: I gave this a 7, and I probably would have commented on it except for the high number of really great shots in this challenge. I love the elephant's red eye and all the muted yellows. Now, this is Very Subjective, but what kept this from going higher was the fact that he seems to be talking to another vet, which means his attention is not really on the elephant, it's going right past the elephant. |

Zoo Vet - The caring man behind the scenesby KelliComment by Melethia: Check it out - you and me right down here in suck-range! :-)
This to me is a very strong shot - the men seem incidental to the elephant, and the elephant seems both grand and fragile at the same time - almost looks sad. |

fishsign.jpgby KelliComment by glad2badad: Hilarious! Let's see...a cyclone dropped this from the sky? No...
Somebody needed a cutting board to fillet it and thought this sign would work? No?
Hmmm...I know. A ticked off wife took hubbies prized mount off the wall and parked it here! Yep. That's it! :P
Glad to see you're paying attention to road signs! |
