Pale Aleby KelliComment by posthumous: I gave this a 5. If it were just a perfectly exposed, sharp photo of a glass of ale I would have given it a 4, but I gave you an extra point for the daring processing. You pushed it to the very edge of visibility, so that even though the rim and base are visible on your monitor, they are pretty much invisible on some of the voters' monitors, including mine. And that explains the low score. The things I vote up for, other people vote down for.
p.s. the reason I was voting this low in the first place is because I don't like studio/product shots and I feel a photo should have a reason to exist other than fulfilling the challenge.

Pale Aleby KelliComment by tate: sounds like something I'd like right now. I sometimes feel like this: under-rated, invisible, a little blurry ... more focus on details might be better. |

Pale Aleby KelliComment by Sheryll: This is either too overexposed or you increase brightness without compensating in contrast. Its too washed out. The idea is good and the composition is nice. I'd like to see the original when the challenge is over. |

Pale Aleby KelliComment by ursula: Good idea for the challenge. To make it work, the light would have to be more controlled, so that there is definition in the glass/beer, yet the background remains very white. As it is, the subject gets soft of mushed into the background, and the background is not clear and white. ~4 |

Pale Aleby KelliComment by Qiki: It seems to me that you've pushed the brightness way up to get the 'white', but in the process have ended up with a very blown looking image. |

Pale Aleby KelliComment by bmartuch: This is a really nice shot but I would like to see a tad more of the glass. 7 |
